PLANTAS DE AEROMODELOS PART 1 / MODEL AIRCRAFT PLANS PART 1

Um bom aeromodelo tem que ter, além da aerodinâmica, uma montagem simétrica, ser leve e resistente e atender ao tipo de pilotagem: Treinador, 3D, FAI, Escala, VCC, etc.

A escolha pelo modelo também faz jus a planta selecionada e/ou a elaboração da mesma.
Existem vários sites que disponibilizam plantas de aeromodelos grátis, basta ter um pouco de paciência para pesquisar. Recomendo alguns sites que possuem ótimos planos, detalhando cavernas e perfis de asa. Com o desenho fazemos alguns cálculos para ampliar e estabelecer a escala correta.
Vou exemplificar:

Na aba drawings escolho a época e o avião; como exemplo o Nakajima KI-7 que tem uma planta bem simples. No mesmo site vejo as dimensões reais do avião e faço a divisão do da envergadura pela escala, por exemplo, o KI-87 tem 13,42m ou 13420mm ; supondo que a escala seja 1/6, é só dividir a envergadura por 6 e Bingo! A envergadura de nosso aeromodelo em escala 1/6 será de 2236,6mm ou 2,23 metros. Para ampliar em uma copiadora será necessário informar quanto queremos para que seja plotada a planta.
De posse da planta em tamanho desejado, podemos dimensionar materiais para a montagem básica.
Geralmente começo com as cavernas, em compensado 4mm não esquecendo de ‘vazar’ a mesma para reduzir peso e remover o contormo do revestimento, além dos rasgos para longarinas e suportes.
