A fabricação da bequilha do Fieseler Storch segue o mesmo processo que utilizo para fabricar pequenas peças em resina odontológica. A mesma possue uma grande resistência mecânica e uma catalização rápida e o melhor, não adere ao molde de borracha de silicone e a cola para unir as peças do mesmo material pode ser a mesma resina. Para pintura a tinta sintética adere bem após uma camada de primer. A matriz foi feita em balsa dura e o protótipo elaborado em resina em um molde de gesso tipo 3 , preenchida com resina acrílica e depois foi dado acabamento com lixa 320 e depois com uma fina lixa d'agua para o acabamento. Após realizado, foi feito o molde definitivo com borracha de silicone branca. O resultado é bem gratificante e a resistência mecânica atende perfeitamente ao projeto. O desafio agora são as peças complementares a fixação e comando da bequilha.

The challenge now are the complementary parts to fix and control the tailwheel.
